These words have stripped away any pretense that we are really free. I have known for sometime that the law is unjust but reading this made me realize what we have lost or never had. I am old and who knows how much time I have left on this earth but I leave children, grand and great grandchildren and I fear for them as each one is so precious. Thank you for this Elizabeth. I hope we can find a new way of being on this planet we call home where all are welcome and cared for.

Elizabeth I have been following you since RL was on fb Jan 2017 I think. This is so very poignant in these very dark days. We need that final shred of hope in order to put one foot in front of the other. I have rebuilt my life a few times too. I’m very much wanting to build the future for my grandchildren so that they will never have their rights taken away. Currently volunteering for a State Senate candidate in AL. The odds are against us but doing nothing is not an option. Thank you for this essay. I needed this today. 💞

So intuitive and such concise writing, I’m sitting here letting it soak in. Your dream was profound. We are all having things stolen from a system most of us trusted.

Thank you so much for this. Hearing this from you, reading your words, explicitly detailing the truth of, and with clarity, the reality of who wrote the constitution, and that none of it applies to any of us, save for those with power over, we are well and truly fucked, always have been, but never realized it. But, having said that, it has actually been rape all along over the millennia (and I say that as someone who was physically and sexually abused with PTSD from childhood by my mother and others). What we have before us as you have so clearly written here is an opportunity. I don’t know what it looks like. I know though that this post is a wake up call from a long sleep. We do not consent. From this day forward, how do we create what is next ourselves? With and for our families and one another in community. I’m very glad to be a member of the Atelier and grateful for your leadership, teachings and wisdom. Where do we go from here? Thank you. 💕

This, this trashed house and identity, this woman who has been "less than" for eighty years and counting, this ending of all she worked for and lived for...this is the time for the phoenix. This is the time to envision what we want, hold hands, sing, and pass the tools around to build what comes next...as our Earth shifts patterns and millions of us are forced to leave, we are going somewhere together, and we are the ones who choose where, and how, and with whom.

So incredibly written, and so accurate in every single way. Your despair mimics my own, and many others, Elizabeth. I know you're an excellent writer, but this piece was divinely inspired.

I was asked to give a speech at a march tomorrow in SC. Along with Frederick Douglas's speech, "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?", I am going to credit and reference this essay!!! Thank you for you profound words.

You've touched on so many things that I have thought of for decades and for which I have wanted to ask you so many questions during your "Ask me anything." When I have more time, I want to explore more ideas with you. Thanks again for another amazing essay that I will share with everyone in hopes that they will subscribe. Sending love to you and your family.

Wow, that dream! That just chills me to the bone. That is what is happening to our country right now. An international crime syndicate is breaking our country up and selling it for parts, as Sarah Kenzior has said. They are taking what we hold dear, democracy, freedom, our rights and selling us out.

The US has been doing this in other countries for years under the guise of democracy. Installing governments favorable to US capitalist interests and selling out the people of those countries. This has been happening under Democratic and Republican administrations. Now their greed not being satiated, they are coming for the US and its citizens. It will all be gone and all we will have is our memories as we fall to the ground and wail!
